Oh My Presso Privacy Policy
Last updated: To be determined (not yet released) | Effective date: To be determined (not yet released)
Oh My Presso (the "App") is made by kukuDev, an independent developer (the "Operator"). It lets you record the drinks you have with photos and decorate one diary page a day. The App has no sign-up or login, and your core data, such as drink records and photos, is stored only on your device. This policy explains what information the App processes and what it does not.
1. Information Collected and Purpose of Use
The App does not create accounts and does not collect personally identifying information such as your name, email address or phone number. Your core data, including drink names, types and options, when and where you had a drink and what it cost, ratings and notes, photos you take or pick from your gallery, cut-out stickers and the diary pages you decorate, is stored only on your device and is not sent anywhere (photo background removal is also processed on the device). The place where you had a drink is something you enter yourself; the App does not read your location.
Only the minimum information below is processed automatically to provide the service.
| Item processed | Processed by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic and crash logs | Google Firebase Crashlytics | Diagnosing and improving app stability |
| Anonymous usage statistics (app instance ID, app and OS version, device model, language and country, screen views, feature usage events, session information) | Google Firebase Analytics | Improving features and analysing usability |
| Purchase token and product ID | Google Play / verification server | Verifying and restoring the Pro in-app purchase |
| Contact email address and message | Operator | Responding to inquiries and solving problems (if you contact us by email) |
| Technical information needed to download and use the background removal model (device and app information, processing performance and errors) | Google ML Kit | Providing and improving photo background removal |
Drink names, photos, notes, places and prices are not included in usage statistics or diagnostic logs. The App does not show ads and does not collect advertising identifiers.
Camera permission is used only when you photograph a drink. Without it, you can still record a drink by name or pick a photo from your gallery. Notification permission is requested only when you turn on the Daily reminder, and reminders are scheduled on the device.
2. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
The Operator shares information with the third parties below only as needed to run the service, and does not send your drink records, photos or notes anywhere.
- Google Firebase: processing crash logs and usage statistics, verifying app integrity, running purchase verification
- Google Play: processing in-app purchases and verifying receipts
- Google ML Kit: providing the photo background removal model
If you share or save a diary image or backup file yourself, the policies of the app and storage location you choose apply. Beyond this, information may be transferred where required by law, where needed to protect the Operator's rights or safety, or in a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
3. Data Storage and Retention
Core data is stored only on your device. Records are kept in an encrypted database and photos in the App's private storage. Uninstalling the App also deletes the data on the device. Deleted records stay in the Trash for up to 30 days and are then permanently deleted automatically; before that, you can restore them or delete them permanently yourself. You manage and delete backup files in the location where you saved them. The Operator does not keep your drink records or photos.
Usage statistics are kept for 2 months, crash logs for 90 days and the purchase verification server's operating logs for 30 days, and are then deleted. Inquiries are kept for up to 3 months after they are resolved and then deleted. Google Play transaction records and data that must be retained by law follow their own rules.
4. Data Security
Records on the device are stored in an encrypted database, and the encryption key is kept in the operating system's secure storage. External communication is encrypted with HTTPS, and the purchase verification server blocks abnormal requests with app integrity checks (Firebase App Check). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights
In the App, you can view, edit and delete your records and photos, and export them as a backup file (ZIP) or a CSV file. Deleted records go to the Trash (30 days) before being permanently deleted. You can change camera and notification permissions at any time in your device settings. Because the App has no accounts, there is no separate account deletion process. Requests to access, correct or delete personal information can be sent to the contact email below. For advice or dispute mediation about personal information, you can also apply to Korea's Personal Information Infringement Report Center or Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
7. International Data Transfer
Google (Firebase, Play and ML Kit) may process data on servers outside your country. The Operator takes reasonably necessary measures to ensure the data is handled securely.
8. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may update this policy from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before they take effect, for example through an in-app notice. Please check the "Last updated" date at the top periodically.
